When it comes to bathroom design, combining the practical and functional with style and design is always an important consideration. And this even applies to bathroom radiators. So what are the important considerations for choosing the right bathroom radiator? Well, here at RWM Plumbing and Gas, we are leading bathroom design and installation professionals, as well as professional heating and gas engineers. As such, bathroom radiators are something we excel at, and this is our guide to everything you should know about the different bathroom radiator options.
What are the different options for your bathroom radiator?
There are a number of different options when it comes to choosing the right radiator for your bathroom. These include:
- Heated towel rails- designed with a more contemporary and modern appeal, heated towel rails are often vertically positioned, rather than horizontal, and may be some way up the wall. This allows the room to heat, and the hot air to circulate fully, while heating your towel. Perfect for stepping out of a hot shower or bath on winters day. However, with the contemporary style, these may not be appropriate for traditional bathroom spaces.
- Traditional bathroom radiators- traditional radiators have a specific design that is different to standard radiators used today. These tend to have some exposed pipes around the periphery of the radiator, as well as more pronounced rounded edges and ridges. This can be a great feature for any traditional or rustic bathroom space. However, this would look out of place in a contemporary bathroom area.
- Standard radiators- for everything in between, a standard radiator can be installed in your bathroom. These can provide the most heat out of all the different radiator style options, and this can be a deciding factor.
- Size and space- regardless of which type of radiator you choose, you will need to consider the space available and the size of the radiator. This can limit your design choices, so is something you should give close attention.
